Art Basel Paris 2026 runs from October 23 to 25 at the Grand Palais in the 8th arrondissement, bringing together 211 galleries from 41 countries and territories. The smartest place to stay is within walking distance of the fair or on metro line 1: Yuna Saint-Honoré, Yuna Les Halles and Yuna Saint-Germain put the fair, the private foundations and the galleries just minutes from your apartment.

Art Basel Paris 2026: dates, opening hours and tickets

Art Basel Paris 2026 is open to the public from Friday, October 23 to Sunday, October 25, 11 am to 7 pm daily. This is the fair's fifth Paris edition and the first under director Karim Crippa.

Invitation-only days (Avant-Première on October 20, Preview Days on October 21 and 22) lead up to a ticketed public Vernissage on Thursday, October 22, from 2 pm to 8 pm. The 211 exhibitors are split into three sectors: Galeries for established dealers, Emergence for young galleries showing a single artist, and Premise for more unexpected, sometimes historical presentations. Nearly 30 galleries are taking part for the first time.

What to see during Paris Art Week

Art Week reaches well beyond the Grand Palais, with satellite fairs, a free public program, private foundations and gallery openings on both banks of the Seine.

The free Public Program

The Public Program, supported by Miu Miu, returns for its fifth edition with free installations and performances at around nine sites across Paris. Past editions took over Place Vendôme, the Petit Palais, Avenue Winston-Churchill and the Palais d'Iéna. The "Oh La La!" rehang, curated by a guest from outside the art world, takes place on October 23 and 24.

Satellite fairs

  • Paris Internationale: the go-to fair for younger galleries, October 21 to 25, 2026 (venue announced shortly before opening).
  • Asia Now: the 12th edition of the fair dedicated to Asian art scenes, at the Monnaie de Paris (the Paris Mint), 11 quai de Conti, 6th arrondissement; full-price tickets cost €15.

Foundations and museums

The Bourse de Commerce – Pinault Collection (2 rue de Viarmes, 1st), the Fondation Cartier, which moved to Place du Palais-Royal in 2025, and the Fondation Louis Vuitton in the Bois de Boulogne usually time major shows to the fair. The Palais de Tokyo and the Musée d'Art Moderne de Paris round out the circuit. Note that the Centre Pompidou has been closed for renovation since September 2025.

Gallery openings in the Marais

Upper Marais galleries such as Perrotin (76 rue de Turenne), Thaddaeus Ropac (7 rue Debelleyme) and Marian Goodman (79 rue du Temple) hold their openings on the evenings of Tuesday, October 20 and Wednesday, October 21. Most are closed on Sundays.

Where to stay for Art Basel Paris

The best neighborhood depends on your plans: walking distance to the Grand Palais, a central transit hub, or the gallery-lined streets of the Left Bank. Three Yuna aparthotels cover these needs, and a fourth suits teams.

Yuna Saint-Honoré: walk to the Grand Palais

At 259 rue Saint-Honoré in the 1st, steps from Place Vendôme and the Tuileries Garden, Yuna Saint-Honoré is the closest Yuna address to the fair: about a 20-minute walk via Place de la Concorde, or three stops on line 1 from Tuileries. Its four apartments, from 30 to 53 m² (320 to 570 sq ft), sleep up to four. The Palais-Royal and the Fondation Cartier are about 10 minutes away on foot.

Yuna Les Halles: the central hub

At 4 rue des Halles in the 1st, Yuna Les Halles is a 2-minute walk from Châtelet – Les Halles station (RER A, B, D and metro lines 1, 4, 7, 11, 14). Line 1 runs straight to Champs-Élysées – Clemenceau, the Grand Palais stop. The Bourse de Commerce is a few minutes' walk away, and the Marais galleries are about 15 minutes on foot. Two-bedroom apartments sleep six.

Yuna Saint-Germain: the Left Bank gallery scene

At 117 rue de Rennes in the 6th, Yuna Saint-Germain offers 17 apartments, from studios to two-bedroom units of up to 80 m² (860 sq ft) with terraces. The neighborhood is home to the galleries on rue de Seine and rue Mazarine, the Beaux-Arts de Paris, the Musée Delacroix and the Monnaie de Paris, where Asia Now takes place. Rennes metro station (line 12) is right across the street.

Yuna Porte-Maillot: for teams and collector groups

At 48 rue Jacques Ibert in the 17th, Yuna Porte-Maillot has 27 apartments, including duplexes of 85 to 90 m² for six guests, plus a small gym and luggage lockers. It works well for a gallery housing its staff or a group of collectors traveling together.

Why choose an aparthotel during a fair week?

An aparthotel gives you the space of a private apartment and the flexibility a packed schedule demands. Openings often run until 10 pm, so self check-in, with an access code sent 48 hours before arrival, means no reception hours to worry about. The digital concierge answers 24/7 by WhatsApp, phone or email, and the Yuna app lets you order breakfast delivered to your apartment.

The living room and fully equipped kitchen double as a workspace: meet an artist, review a catalog, prepare for a collector meeting. Gallery teams and delegations can find tailored services on our group stays page.

How to plan your Art Basel Paris week
